Hello once more, fanfiction peeps! I bring you my first fanfic. But since I have NEVER once created a fanfic before, I'll just make it up as I go along. Don't be expecting regular updates, please.
Deepest Pain
CHAPTER 1
A fine day on the island of Ereve. But this does not show any happiness to the empress of all Maple World: Empress Cygnus. She goes about her daily business, and eventually, Neinheart stops her. "What's wrong? Normally you're much more...er...happy," said Neinheart. Cygnus replies, "It's always the same thing over and over again." Neinheart raises an eyebrow. "And to top it all off, I do NOT have an heir to the throne when I'm good and dead." Neinheart puts a hand on Cygnus's shoulder. "I'm sure you'll find somebody nice." Cygnus starts to smile, and they hug. Cygnus is now much happier.
Meanwhile, in the blackened lair of the Black Mage, he watches the tender scene with much hate. And yet, he has a desire which cannot be quenched. "That throne should be mine," said the Black Mage. "Hey, Black Mage?" asked a nearby Devil Slime. "Why not create the most devilish child ever and then send it to Cygnus for her to raise up?" The Black Mage turns to the Devil Slime. "Why, what a brilliant idea!" said the Black Mage. "We'll have someone give her the most devilish child she has ever seen!" The Black Mage now grows more dramatic as he declares, "He will destroy Cygnus and the Knights, and I will rule ALL!!!" The nearby monsters clap and cheer. Suddenly, a creature bursts in the room. "MAIL MONSTER!!!" says the creature, and he gives the Black Mage an envelope. He quickly darts out of the room, as the dark hands of the Mage open the envelope. All that is inside is a small bottle filled with clear fluid.
